Da un’intervista al Primo Ministro canadese (Justin Trudeau)
This past January, Canada mourned the loss of six innocent lives who were targeted simply for practicing their religion. This was a terrorist attack against the Muslim community and all Canadians, which struck at one of our most cherished freedoms: to freely practice one’s faith and worship without fear.
The attack sought to instil fear and divide Canadians against themselves. Instead, Canadians came together. A solidarity movement quickly formed across the country as Canadians united to condemn the attack, to foster dialogue, and to combat fear and hatred with messages of positivity and hope.
We know that the best way to defend Canadians and to fight terrorism is to join together in a compassionate society where all members listen to, care about, help, and are there for one another.
Non credo serva aggiungere altro se non che forse sarebbe il caso di capirlo anche noi.
